Downplay is booked to play @7 Fest
Downplay originated in Salem near Youngstown, OH in 2002. Soon after, the band moved to Ohio University in Athens, where two members were attending school. In 2006 the band moved to Columbus, OH, where they are currently writing a third album to be released in 2010.
In the past year alone, the band has opened for such nation acts as Filter, Days of the New, Taproot, Candlebox, and Jimmy’s Chicken Shack.
In December 2009 the band released Rise. Fall. Repeat., an EP of songs the band has written while working on their forthcoming album. The new EP and their first album can be purchased below.
